SIT & DRAW COMPETITION at Jadavpur N.K. Paul Adarsha Shikshayatan, Kolkata
It was decided by the committee of Behala Srijan to arrange a sit & Draw Competition amongst the school students (Junior Level) to boost enthusiasm and bring out the potential artistic creativity lying dormant within them. That is why the Sit & Draw Competition was arranged at Jadavpur N.K. Paul Adarsha Shikshayatan from 12 noon to 1.30 pm on Saturday, 29th February 2020.
Total numbers of participants were 35. Behala Srijan gave away consolation prizes to all the participants and out of them three deserved students were awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd utility prizes. Each and everyone enjoyed good refreshment.

Behala Srijan has initiated a Cultural tie up with Saraswati Art Foundation of Netherlands to create a new phase of cultural exchange. People with an inclination towards art and music cannot ignore the rich cultural heritage of India. So music lovers from Netherlands have responded to our invitation and participated in our event, CHAITANYA LEHRI.
Two talented Dancers, CHRADA SHEORATAN and KAVITA NAGESAR, from Netherlands who are from Surinamese Hindustani Community, the 4th generation of the immigrants who left from Kolkata, performed at ICCR Kolkata, along with students of SUR SANGAM (Pran Gopal Bandopadhyay, Sayam Panja, Subhrojyoti Sen, Tanmoy Mondal) which is helmed by Pt Alok Lahiri. The event was successfully concluded with Classical Vocal performance by Bishnupriya Chakraborty.

The Programme of propagation of Indian Traditional Music and promotion of young talented artists "SHRUTI NAAD" held at Swami Punyananda Mukto Mancha, near Hari sabha mandir, Rahara, Khardah, West Bengal on Sunday, 22nd April 2018 at 5 pm. The programme was divided into two sessions. Amongst the participants of the first session were Niladridev Bhattacharya, Adrija Modak, Anitendu Modak, Udit Chakraborty, Dwaipayan Chowdhury, Mahasweta Mukherjee (Dance) and Sumanata Das (Sufi Song). Around 25 children of underprileged families were gifted waterbottles and colours to boost up their interest in going to school and conitnue their basic education.
The second session of the programme was participated by students of Sur Sangam ( Composed and directed by Pt Alok Lahiri) on Sarod, Violin, Flute and Tabla. Shruti Natak (Audio Drama) by "Mukhor" and Bangla and Puratani songs by Debarati Chakraborty.
The total programme was hosted by Susmita Ghosh.

Educational Awareness Programme
Team Behala SRIJAN organised an Education Camp at Sonagaon, Gadkhali, Sunderbans, South 24 Parganas.
Around 25 local children of underprivileged families of this area were benefited. Awareness programme on utility of basic education and necessity of going to school regularly, was organised. Apart from these children, their parents and some other local people participated in the programme. The children were gifted with education kits. Mr Biswajit Jana, one of the residents of this place helped us to organise the educational awareness program successfully. We are grateful to him. One of the sponsored children of Behala Srijan, Monalisa Das and her parents also participated actively in the programme.

A two-day long Cultural programme on Hindustani Classical Music named as Naari...a tribute to the divine humanity of women was held at Birendra Mancha, Kolkata to celebrate 150th birth anniversary of Sister Nivedita on 28th and 29th January 2017. The programme was jointly organised by behala SRIJAN and Shri Shri Ramkrishna Vivekananda Bhabachakra. Prabrajika Debaprana Mataji, Secretary of Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Sister Nivedita Girls' School, Kolkata graced the occasion as the President of the musical programme. Respected Shri Debasish Kumar, hon'ble MMIC, Kolkata Municipal Corporation adorned the chair of Chief Guest while the special Guest of honor was eminent consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, respected Dr Rabindranath Mondal.
Behala Srijan helped children of Underprivileged families of the Sunderbans of South 24 Parganas of West Bengal by giving them education kits.
Vocal reciter Kankana Banerjee, Lady Percussionist group called Naari Shakti led by famous tabla maestro Rimpa Shiva and four other lady percussionists, Vocal reciter Pt. Ritesh & Pt. Rajnish Mishra, Pt Ronu Majumder, Kathak dancer Shri Tapash Debnath, Vocal Artist Vidushi Tripti Mukherjee left the audience spell bound.
